They were at The Waterfront in Little Italy. Jonathan had approached Valarie and her girl friends and was chatting a lot with Valarie. He was 25 (too young), and smoking a cigarette. Two strikes. After he had been lingering around their group for a while, Valarie leaned over and whispered to her friends, “What does that guy want?”. It turns out, he wanted a date with Valarie. She was having a fabulous time with her friends, the mood was fun and full of energy. She accepted his offer of a date.

Love often finds you when you aren’t looking for it. A little over three years from that night, Jonathan proposed to Valarie. And once again she said “yes”. This time, she had been anxiously awaiting him asking.

I wish both of you nothing but the best in this life. I wish for success and happiness, and lots of traveling and living all over the world together. Thank you for your support and encouragement of me and my business. Valarie, I am so glad to have met you through this wedding planning process and I’m honored to call you a friend. xoxo.
