Marion’s best friend was fanning her dress out. Jeremy closed his eyes and inhaled deeply with the biggest smile you’ve ever seen. “Can I look now?” His smile actually got bigger, “I can sense her there.” And then she tapped him on the shoulder and he turned to see his wife-to-be for the first time on their wedding day.
Eddie who is a fabulous photographer, came along to second shoot for Marion & Jeremy’s wedding day. We spent the early afternoon separate. Eddie hung with the guys while I spent time with Marion & the girls. They had wonderful relaxing mornings apart from each other. But in that moment when they saw each other you couldn’t help but feel the love and excitement between the two of them and know that this is the way life should be. They belong together. And the atmosphere around them is somehow different – better – when they are near each other. I know I smiled from behind my camera all day being in your presence. Thank you.
After meeting up at Balboa Park for some quick pictures we headed to the El Cortez where Marion & Jeremy began the ceremonies with a Tish. This is a Jewish tradition where M&J meet with their families and friends to share portions of the Torah. Traditionally the friends and family members interrupt with jokes, song and dance to alleviate the pressure.
Jeremy lifts the pen to demonstrate his acceptance of Marion as his wife.
And a touching blessing by Marion’s father:
This will animate. If it isn’t moving give it a few moments to load:
Their rings with some tasty treats from the candy bar:
Thank you again for welcoming Eddie & me into your lives. I adore you both and I am so happy that you found each other. We wish you nothing but happiness!
