The church hummed with anticipation. Mike was waiting in the wings, mostly unnoticed, when he shot a smile our way. You could tell he was ready to see Katie. Ready to marry her. Ready for this incredible milestone to take place and make things forever in front of everyone they hold dear.  Katie and Mike were married at St Therese of Carmel Valley by their hometown priest, Father Greene. Afterwards, their guests mingled and were treated to an awesome spread of food at The Ranch House Del Sur. The details were set. They were not just beautiful, but incredibly touching. Katie wrote handwritten notes to each and every guest and left them at their place setting. As the day slowly faded to evening and the market lights twinkled to life and hot air balloons slowly rose into the sky off in the distance, friends and family shared heartwarming toasts and stories about Katie and Mike. Two people were likely never loved more than these two. Through happy tears and belly laughs, everyone sharing that space with them came together to celebrate two truly amazing people and their lives converging into oneness. You two have this incredibly special thing and I am so thrilled for you that this day went so perfectly and that you have each other to continue to do this crazy, beautiful thing called life and marriage. I think the world of you both. Thank you for letting me bear witness to your wedding. xo
