Jennie and Shawn’s wedding was a-ma-zing. Their friends are hysterical and surrounded them with a positive energy all day. Their families were so warm, their ceremony was touching and emotional. The food was delish and they had a raging dance party all night. What more can you ask for? I love Jennie and Shawn’s engagement story. And I have to say I did a little dance when they booked me to photograph their wedding because I could INSTANTLY tell how cool they were. You guys are the kindest (and funniest/coolest) people and I am so happy for you that you had this day together and that your lives are going forward in this marriage. Thank you!! For having me.
I love these photos of Jennie helping her daughter, Emma get ready. You are a wonderful mom, Jennie. It’s evident watching you for even the shortest time. I especially love this one of you helping her with her nailpolish. On top of the wedding timeline.
Jennie and Shawn opted to do a first look so that they could join their guests for cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony, and to allow plenty of time for photos:
Jennie’s brother was required to deploy right before their wedding date so was unable to attend. But he was definitely there in spirit. And on a stick! (The bow-tie was a nice touch, guys)
Shawn’s vows to Jennie’s children, Emma and Beckett were so heartfelt and touching:
My favorite detail is the 40th anniversary napkins at cocktail hour. Genius!
They had a photobooth with awesome props (that also made their way to the dancefloor)
And you didn’t even have to be on the dance floor to be a part of this crazy dance party:
Thank you, again. It was SO MUCH FUN!
