The instant I met Le’s (pronounced “lease”) I crossed my fingers that she would report back to Matt about our meeting and they’d decide to have me along at their wedding. I had to wipe tears from my eyes for laughing so hard while we chatted about wedding planning, life, family, and photography. She makes it so easy to be in her presence and feel at ease. She’s kind and funny and gorgeous. Last weekend I met Matt for the first time as we shot their engagement photos and we lamented together about how we were shooting this session on a Sunday and neither one of us were in front of the television rooting for our football teams who were no longer in the hunt for superbowl rings this year.

I realized that he has that same ability to make Le’s laugh and feel at home around him. So we walked the park on an unreal January day full of sunshine and laughed some more.
